About our Graham’s Tom Thumb Cherry Tomato

This is a bit of a Welsh heirloom variety, grown in Cardiff for many decades! A vigorous vine tomato with exceptionally long double trusses of larger than average cherry tomatoes. Can be grown outside but best under cover. Seed Story: Our original seed was kindly provided by Adam Alexander, “The Seed Detective”. Graham’s Tom Thumb is so named after the man who gave Adam the seeds, Graham Chedzey from Cathays, Cardiff, who was given seeds by a neighbour over 40 years ago. The neighbour had been growing them for the previous 40 years. Graham gave seeds to the then Prince of Wales who, we’re told, grows them at Highgrove. Approx. 20 seeds per packet. Botanical name: Solanum lycopersicum Grown by: Chris Vernon
